Passed away peacefully on August 4, 2016 at the age of 95, embraced by the love of her family. Predeceased by husband Ernest, son Brian and grandson Brett Vandenberg who all welcomed her into the afterlife with open arms. Cherished mother of Elaine Vandenberg(Bob), Lorraine, Kevin (Lois), Terry (Pam), Chris (Maggie), and Dale. Loving grandmother to 12 grandchildren and 7 great- grandchildren. Cherished sister of Bessie Kennedy. Will be missed by nieces, nephews and friends. A special thank you to her nieces Eileen Hendrick, Carol Radmore and Jill St. Germain for their love and support. Thank you to the amazing staffs at Bridlewood Retirement Home and Riverpark Retirement Residence. Your dedication and compassion were truly appreciated. Memorial mass to celebrate her life on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at 11 am at Saint Stephen’s Church, Chelsea, Quebec. Reception to follow at the Meredith Community Centre, 23 Cecil Road, Chelsea.
