Louise Demers

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Louise Demers (née Lalande). Born in Ottawa, she was the daughter of the late Louis Lalande and of the late Georgette Racicot Lalande. She was the loving spouse of the late Marcel Demers and the caring mother of Luc Demers (Angela Demers) and Pierre Demers (Kristina Hodges).

She leaves in mourning her grandchildren Alexander, Elizabeth, Nicholas, Marcel and Daphne as well as her great grandson Zack.

Louise also leaves behind her brother Frank and her sister Julie. She was pre-deceased by her brothers Jack and Pierre.

A memorial service will be held in her honor on Thursday April 17th at 10:30 AM at Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home (180 Montreal Road, Ottawa, Ontario). The family will be receiving condolences as of 9:30 AM.

C’est avec grande tristesse que nous annonçons le décès de Louise Demers (née Lalande). Originaire d’Ottawa elle était la fille de feu Louis Lalande et de feu Georgette Racicot Lalande. Elle était l’épouse bien aimée de feu Marcel Demers ainsi que la mère veillant de Luc Demers (Angela Demers) et Pierre Demers (Kristina Hodges).

Elle laisse dans le deuil ses petits-enfants chéris; Alexandre, Elizabeth, Nicholas, Daphne ainsi que son arrière-petit-fils Zack.

Louise quitte également son frère Frank et sa sœur Julie. Elle fut prédécédée par ses frères Jack et Pierre.

Un service commémoratif aura lieu jeudi le 17 avril à 10h30 dans la chapelle de la Maison funéraire Racine, Robert & Gauthier (180 chemin Montréal, Ottawa, Ontario). La famille recevra les condoléances à la Maison funéraire dès 9h30.
