Dear Bruce and Steve,
We were saddened to read about your mom's passing. Our deepest sympathies to you.  We knew your mother when your dad worked at R.L. Crain's.  She was a classy lady.

Leave it to the Engineer to be last at this, but I have a hard time extending sympathies...  For me my anut Louise was always the fire in the room and always had a smile.  She never held back her opinions, and as some one else has said here, was a classy lady.  I like to think she help to define who I am as a person in which case her memory will surely live on.

I sadly discovered the news of Loiuse's passing in Friday's paper. I met her when she cared for children through the Children's Village. She had a genuine acceptance for and rapport with the children in her care. Over the years I ran into her from time to time and after long chats I was always left with the warm feeling that she was a very classy lady.

My most sincere condolences to all of you.

I am sorry to hear about your mom. She was my first ever babysitter when I was about 7 years old and that was 20 years ago. I remember being so sad the day I left her care:( I used to beg her to make her apple crisp because it was my favorite and I have yet to find any better. She was a wonderful and very caring woman.
