Lionel Robidoux

Peacefully on Wednesday, June 27th, 2012 in his 80th year at the Ottawa General Hospital after a brave and courageous fight with Sarcoidosis and Polycythemia. Will be sadly missed by best friend and loving wife Monica Kerr, children Christina Forde, Pauline Boutin (Jody), Francine Mahoney (Stephen), Susanne Crooks (Stephen), Phillip Robidoux (Maryl), Matthew Robidoux and 12 grandchildren. Survived by his brothers Lloyd and Norman and sisters Leona Arcand, Patricia Tallon, Olive Belisle, Iris Fournier (Ronnie) and Arlene. Predeceased by his brother Cecil. Lionel was a long time member of the Smiths Falls Flying Club. Visitation at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road (at Albion Rd.) on Sunday, July 1, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass Monday July 2, in St. Clement’s Church, 528 Old St. Patrick Street, at 10 a.m. Interment St Bridget’s Cemetery, Stanleyville, ON. In memoriam donations to Action Life, The Ottawa Food Bank or to St. Clement’s Church Building Fund would be appreciated.
