Peacefully on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 after a lengthy illness, at the age of 79. Beloved husband of Janet. Much loved and will be dearly missed by his daughters Tanya, Shannon and his pets Percy and Cleo. Predeceased by his son Mark. Cherished grandfather of Robert, Taber, Natasha, James and Patrick. Dear brother of Bobby, Jeanne, Cecile, Angela, Pauline, Linda, Bernard and predeceased by Roger, Lorraine, Murielle, Robert, Paul and Francine. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 19th, 2012 from 11am-12 noon at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road (at Albion Rd.) followed by a memorial service in the chapel. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Queensway Carleton Hospital for the exceptional care. In lieu of flowers donations to the Queensway Carleton Hospital would be appreciated.
