Peacefully surrounded by the love of her three daughters at the Osgoode Care Centre on Friday December 31, 2021 at the age of 87.
Joan is now reunited with her beloved husband, Blayne (May 16, 2020) of 68 wonderful years.
Loving mom to Deanna McDonald (Hugh), Paula Quaile (Tim), Lisha McCrum (Gary Farnsworth).
Cherished Grandmother to her grandchildren Vicki (Chris), David (Michelle), Matthew (Jenn), Tyler (Natalie), Brittany (Broc), Brianna, and to her great-grandchildren Connor, Sara, Chelsea, Emma, Alex, Kaitlyn, Kimberly, Julia, Logan, Bennett, Tama & Aubrey.
Joan is pre-deceased by her parents, Margaret and Ed Duffy as well as her sister, Dorothy and her brothers, Mike and Jack.
Joan will be remembered for her big beautiful smile and the immense love for her family. She was very proud and devoted to her many grandchildren & great grandchildren. Joan will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Our deepest gratitude to the staff at the Osgoode Care Centre for their compassionate care for our Mother. In memory of Joan, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation. A private family service will take place in the spring time.
