Son of the late Raymond and Claire Day. Dear brother of Marion Moore (the late Jim), Roy Day (Kim) and the late Shirley Poulter (Wayne). Uncle of Charlie Moore and his children Alyssa Quinn and the late C.J.Moore. and nephews the late Roger and the late Chris Moore, Matthew and Erin Day.
Jim will be fondly remembered by his extended family, sister-in-law Jean Shields and her children, Tim (Rachel) and their children James and Veronica, and Laurie Shields and her son Thomas Aprile, and sister-in-law Debbie Payne and her daughter Ainsley Shields (Gil Swan) and their son Logan.
Also remembered by Kailey (Eric Lavergne) , Taylor, Eddie and Jasper; Cathy and David Derouin. Predeceased by his in-laws Jack and Mary Shields and brothers-in-law Mike and Robert Shields.
Jim had declining health for many years, the medical profession was never able to diagnose his disabling disease.
Relatives and friends may attend a visitation at McEvoy Shields Funeral Home 1411 Hunt Club Rd. at Albion Rd. on Friday April 4th, from 2-4 pm with a Service in the chapel at 4pm. Followed by a reception.
