Hard to believe it's been a year already....miss you bugs!!!!

I think of you all the time Jean, your big heart, your smile. I went downtown yesterday to visit my father In law at work and thought about you so much. The father of my children passed away 2 weeks ago. I'm broken and tired and can't help wondering "what if" all the time. I miss you Jean, I miss Chris now too and I hope you've met him. He would really love you. As much as my job on earth is not complete, I will be so much happier in heaven with the rest of you. Xoxoxo

John was like another family member to us when I was groing up. John's brother Mike was married to my sister Sandra. When John was around, fun was had by all. He always had a way to make me smile. His qwirky approaches to me as a kid was so much fun, his strade mark scare tactic with his denture forward smile often had me jump out of my seat, especially at Matante Yvette's cottage by the fire!
It has been many years, but I suddenly feel like a kid again when I look at some of the pictures.;especially of you Donna sitting on your dad's lap. If it wasn't you sitting there it was your Mom, this always left me with a feeling that John loved his 2 girls.
I feel fortunate to have memories of John from my childhood.

I was blessed to have worked with Jean very recently. He made me smile everyday and always had great stories to tell...he was my work buddy and I will miss him terribly. He told me all about his wife, daughter and grandson. He was so proud of his grandson's hockey, my boys play hockey and we had that in common, often sharing pictures, etc... I have never known such a warm hearted, generous man and my utmost sympathies to his family. He loved you all dearly, even spoke of his mother and brothers. I won't be asking "where's my french friend? It's break time" cause I know now where you are. You will be the best Angel your family could ever have asked for. You always said you were tired, your back will ache no longer. Rest peacefully my friend, until we meet again.

John was like a brother to me,he was always so kind and generous and never thought of himself just others.Thanks for everything you did for our family,especially my mother.I will support Starr and get her through this great loss as you would have wanted me to do.We are going to miss but you will always be in our hearts. I worked with Jean for many years at 250 Albert. He was in the parking, and I was at Security. We were either tossing golf balls around, or trying to get each other with water. He was a fun guy to have around. Always laughing. I will miss him a lot.
