I heard about Jay Jay's (Danny's name) passing today and it really hurt me.

I want to express my sincere condolences to Deanna, Rollie, Don, Kim, Danny, Donna, Gail and all his extended family.

Jay was my friend, my fishing and hunting buddy, my camp buddy and somebody I cared for very deeply. We walked into early morning rivers together, drove miles and miles chasing elusive partridge, were together the morning Danny shot the deer and Jay was happy we were together. Playing cards and having a toddie at camp was fun, relaxing and I miss those times dearly. Oh and how could I forget his role as the Old Chinese guy at his and Deanna's camp near Charlo Dam.

Jay was a unique character that I had the privilege of knowing and will never forget. The albums we have at camp with Jay and the boys will always be there to remind me of him.

So Jay have fun casting that fly to the far bank where that beauty of a trout just broke the surface. And some day I will have the chance to fish with you again.

RIP  Jay Jay!
