Peacefully in hospital on Monday, August 25, 2014. Predeceased by her loving husband Gerard Harmsen, her parents, Mark Monaghan and Theresa Lavell, as well as her brothers Victor, Stanley, Lawrence, Gerald, Harold and her sisters Mamie Cavanaugh, Agnes Kirley and Myrtle Kealey. Survived by sister Doris Bell, her step-daughters Johanna Harmsen Oeheing (Hans) and Margaret Harmsen Kelly (late Robert) as well as her grandchildren Mika, Jason, and Melanie (Oehling) and Chad and Liam (Kelly) as well as their children. Also survived by 30 nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road (at Albion Road) on Monday, September 1, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at 11 am at St. Mark the Evangelist Church, 160 Principale Street , Aylmer, Quebec. Interment St. Paul's Cemetery. In memoriam donations to St. Malachy's Church, 4505 Route 315, Mayo, Quebec J8L 4E1 would be appreciated.
