Ina Rodger

Ina was born in Williamstown, ON, into a large farming family on May 12, 1927. She was the eighth of eleven children. She was the loving daughter of the late Daniel and Anna-Marcella Wood, and the devoted wife of the late Keith Rodger.

Ina leaves to mourn her daughter, Kim (Paul St. Denis); her grandchildren, Kevin, Patricia (Andrew), Alana, and Stephanie (Sandy); her great-grandchildren, Scarlett, Griffin, Angus, Arthur, Fallon, Calvin, Wallace, Marshall, Gordon, Hector, and Sunny; her sister, Bernadette; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was predeceased by her siblings: Patrick, Steve, Earl, Jean, Marguerite, Duncan, Daniel, John, and Hugh.

Ina dedicated her entire career to education, where she cherished working with children. Outside of work, she spent much of her time traveling, curling in the winter, and golfing in the summer. Her travels took her to places most can only dream of, where she made lasting friendships everywhere she went. Ina was also deeply committed to her faith.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at 11:00 AM at St. Philip’s Church, 127 Burke Street, Richmond, Ontario.
