Offering our sincere condolences in the loss of a great lady seems almost insignificant.  Hilda was such an appreciative person who was interested in so many things.  It was a joy to see her and to realize she was so respected and looked up to. Her love, kindness and generosity permeated not only her great extended family but the whole community as well.
We were in Italy on a tour with Ian and Jackie at the time of her wake and funeral.  Terry Lee attended and told us it was a beautiful celebration as we knew it would be.

It is comforting to believe that her and Jack are together again.

My Godmother, my Aunt, a wonderful person, there are not enough words to describe Hilda. Her hand squeeze held so much, it didn't need words, her touch conveyed all the emotions in the world. I take comfort in knowing that on one of my last trips home I was able to spend time talking to Hilda as she sat in a van outside of the centre in Low. The memories of growing up with Hilda and her family are to many to mention and I will not speak of God since I expect that Hilda is on a first name basis with Him.

Many a wonderful time we had as young girls growing up and in our adult years. You welcomed me into your life as a child and treated me like your sister. Although I was an only child, I was never a lonely child as I always had you to guide and protect me.

Losing you brings sadness as we have been there for each other 90+ years and now my dear friend we are separated.

My only wish is that the dear Lord, Jack and all your family and friends greeted you at Heaven's Gates and welcomed you into your eternal home.

Your Mom/Grandma was a pillar of strength to not only your family but to the Venosta community at large. We will always remember Hilda with her smile and welcoming personaiity. It didn't matter where you met her, she always had a kind word to say and made sure to say hello and ask how everyone was doing. 

Hilda was not only a cousin to Mom, but a true friend. Their friendship lasted a lifetime and saw many a hardship and trying time. Irregardless they were always there for each other every step of the way. 

May the many many wonderful memories you have of your Mom remain with you forever and ever.

While our loved one's may leave us for a while, one day we will be together again with them, never to be parted.

Your Mom is now reunited with your Dad and her family and friends who have gone before her.
