Peacefully in her sleep on July 12, 2019 at Billingswood Manor at the age of 83. She was the beloved wife of Eugene Monette and dear mother of Paul, Deborah (Marc), Peter and Patrick. She was also the loving grandmother of Jessica (Matt), Steven, Keith, Dimitri and Yianni. Visitation at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road, on Thursday, July 18 from 10 am - 11 am followed by a memorial service in the chapel at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, donations to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute in Helen's memory would be greatly appreciated.
