Peacefully, with his family by his side on Monday December 23rd, 2013 at the age of 71. Dear son of the late Yvanhoe Groulx and the late Donalda Roy. Loving spouse of Angèle Croteau-Séguin. He will be sadly missed by his children Michel, Jean-Pierre and Caroline (Marek) and the mother of their children Jeannette Labelle. He will also be missed by his sister Françine (Pierre); his brothers Yvanhoe (Lise) and Robert (Cynthia); his brother-in-law David; his two nephews; great-niece Amélia and great-nephew Olivier. Gilles will be remembered by Angèle's sons, their wives and three grandchildren Alain, Camille and Zachary. Special thanks for the exceptional and compassionate care from the Palliative Care Unit Carefor, CCAC, At Home Hospice and Medical daycare unit at the Ottawa General Hospital. Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday December 28th, 2013 at Annunciation of the Lord Church (2414 Ogilvie Rd, Gloucester) at 11 a.m. For those wishing, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society for Leukemia Research.
