Passed away peacefully at the Queensway Carleton Hospital on February 11, 2019 at the age of 81.
Son of the late Marcel Bertrand and the late Louisette Perrier. He leaves in sorrow his beloved wife Nicole Bertrand (nee Philippe), his loving children Alain and Johanne (Stéphane) Guillemette, his cherished grandchildren Joshua, Rachel and Ashley. He also leaves his siblings Yves (Madeleine) and Micheline, as well as many nephews, nieces and friends. He was also predeceased by his brother Jean-Jacques. The family would like to thank the staff at the Queensway Carleton Hospital and the nurses from Bayshore Home Health Care for the good care provided. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday February 21, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home Chapel (180 Montreal Road, Ottawa). The family will receive condolences from 10 a.m.
