It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gilberte on Sunday, February 23, 2014 at the age of 97. Predeceased by her loving husband John. Our little angel will be sadly missed by her children Ronald Gauthier and Claudette Bowie; nephew Wilfred Lalonde, his wife Lucille, their children Christine, Marc and Chantale, and their families; grandchildren Brian Bowie, Debbie Bowie (her husband Hugues Gibeault), and Richard Gauthier; and great grandchildren Sophie and Cassandre Gibeault. Family and friends are invited to visit McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road, on Wednesday, February 26 from 9:30 am to 11:30 am followed by a funeral service in the chapel at 11:30 am.
