Suddenly in Okotoks, Alberta, on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at the age of 77 years. Loving father of Jennifer, Laurie (James Coyle), James (Anne Gagnon), Michelle (Matthew Orrbine) and Alexandra (Jason Morin). Dear grandfather of 7 beautiful grandchildren and loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel of McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road (at Albion Road) in Ottawa, Ontario (613-737-7900) on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, kindly consider a donation to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute or the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation at the Ottawa General Hospital.
