George Bach went to be with the Lord Jesus on June 30th, 2021 in Gatineau, Quebec at the age of 66 years. George is survived by his loving wife Rosa, his brother Manfred, his children Abraham (Hannah), Daniel, and Anna (Jamal) and the apples of his eye, his six grandchildren: Aliyah, Levi, Mabel, Cecelia, Evelyn, and Timothy.
Despite decades of trials and tribulations related to his health, he always greeted everyone with a smile. This great joy was grounded in his great faith in Jesus Christ. Everywhere he would go, he would share of God’s great love and great power to save sinners by grace, through faith in Jesus Christ alone.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, July 8, 2021 from 4:00pm to 7:30pm at McEvoy Shields Funeral Home (1411 Hunt Club Rd. Ottawa, ON K1V 1A6). Due to COVID restrictions, a limited amount of people will be allowed in for 45 minute intervals. Anyone who wishes to attend must call the funeral home at 613-737-7900 during regular office hours to book their desired time.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 9, 2021 at 11:00 am at Metropolitan Bible Church, 2176 Prince of Wales Dr. Ottawa, ON K2E 0A1. Pastor Ken Beach to officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate George's life.
