Passed away on March 15, 2016 at the age of 72. Son of the late Frank MacArthur Rock and the late Jessie Cuthill. Loving husband of Thelma Harrigan. He leaves in sorrow his daughters Christine Rock from White-Rock, BC and Carolyne Rock from Vancouver, BC, his grandchildren Ashley, Sarah and Jessica and his great-granddaughter Brooklyn. He also leaves his brothers Michael George (Janice) from Rochester, Minnesota and Franklin Spencer from Florida, as well as many nephews, nieces and friends; Chris, Erin, Colin and Emily. The family would like to thank the staff of the Montfort Hospital, volunteers in particular Pascale Millette, who provided comfort and compassion during my loss. In addition Mr. Paul Lee; Pharmacist and his staff at Riverside Drugs for their guidance, assistance and excellent service at all time. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday March 28, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home Chapel (180 Montreal Rd, Ottawa). The family will receive condolences from 10:30 a.m. In Memory of Gary S. Rock, donations to the Diabetes Association or the Montfort Foundation would be appreciated.
