Edna Watson

She was one of four children born in Summerside PEI on March 19, 1938 to the late Herman and Agnes MacKinnon and was the beloved wife of Ken Watson for 49 years. She was a sister to the late Mark Mackinnon (Liz), Blair Mackinnon (Kit Watson) and Brenda Mackinnon. Edna will forever be remembered by her husband Ken and beloved children Heather (Brian Miklaucic) and Cheryl (Stephen Desabrais), her treasured grandchildren Matthew, Nicholas and Liam and many nieces and nephews. Edna will also be missed by countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know and love her. She was a wonderful woman with a great sense of humour and a smile that would light up a room. She was loved by many and will always be remembered.

The family wishes to express their appreciation for the care and dedication of the staff in the ER, ICU and Trauma Unit of The Ottawa Civic Hospital; their names too numerous to mention but never forgotten.

Friends and family are invited to attend the visitation on Wednesday July 13th, 2011 from 2–4pm and from 7-9pm and the funeral service on Thursday July 14th, 2011 at 11:00am at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home and Chapel at 1411 Hunt Club Road, Ottawa, ON K1V 1A6, 613-737-7900.
