Décédée le vendredi 15 mars 2019 à l’âge de 98 ans. Elle était la fille de feu Siméon Rainville et de feu Rosina Lalonde et l’épouse bien-aimée de feu le sénateur Rhéal Bélisle. Elle laisse dans le deuil ses huit enfants : Hélène (feu Robert Pilon), Claire (Smaïl Aït El Hadj), Fernand (Rosemary Chisholm), Réjeanne (Michel Massie), Gilbert (Dominique Joly), Claude, Huguette (Boyd Hawkins) et Pierre (Marie-Claude Roy); 14 petits-enfants : Chantal (Rob) Bélisle; Michel, Yves (Chantal) et Daniel (Charity) Pilon; Lucie et Anaïs (Anthony) Bélisle-Aït El Hadj; Étienne-René (Joanne) et Marc-André (Mélanie) Massie; Nicolas (Amanda) et Éric (Megan) Bélisle; Patrick (Magali) Ford-Bélisle; Russell, Sarah et Carolyne Hawkins et 14 arrière-petits-enfants Joseph Connor; Élisabeth, Valérie, Laurent et Catherine Pilon; André, Mélina et Sébastien Pilon; Julien et Gabriel Pilon; Caleb, Magalie et Louka Massie; Alexandre Massie. Elle fut prédécédée par ses frères Hormidas (feu Alida Moncion), Siméon (feu Béatrice Couillard), Lucien (feu Laurette Larocque), Paul (feu Gertrude Couillard), Louis (feu Claire Bertrand) et ses sœurs Eugénie (feu Wilfrid Portelance) et Léonide (feu Oswald Méthé). Elle laisse également une belle-sœur, Yolande (feu Maurice) Bélisle ainsi que de nombreux neveux et nièces. La famille recevra les condoléances à la maison funéraire Racine Robert & Gauthier, 180, chemin Montréal, Ottawa le mercredi 20 mars 2019 de 14 h à 16 h et de 19 h à 21 h. La messe de funérailles aura lieu le jeudi 21 mars 2019, en l’église Basilique Cathédrale Notre-Dame, 335 promenade Sussex, Ottawa. L’inhumation aura lieu au cimetière de Blezard Valley (Ontario) le samedi 23 mars 2019 à 11h. Cherished grandmother of 14 grandchildren: Chantal (Rob) Bélisle; Michel, Yves (Chantal) and Daniel (Charity) Pilon; Lucie and Anaïs (Anthony) Bélisle-Aït El Hadj; Étienne-René (Joanne) and Marc-André (Mélanie) Massie; Nicolas (Amanda) and Éric (Megan) Bélisle; Patrick (Magali) Ford-Bélisle; Russell, Sarah and Carolyne Hawkins. She is predeceased by her brothers Hormidas (late Alida Moncion), Siméon (late Béatrice Couillard), Lucien (late Laurette Larocque), Paul (late Gertrude Couillard), Louis (late Claire Bertrand) and her sisters Eugénie (late Wilfrid Portelance) and Léonide (late Oswald Méthé). Survived by her sister-in-law Yolande (late Maurice) Bélisle as well as by many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Racine Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home, 180 Montreal Road, Ottawa on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at 10:30 am at Notre-Dame Cathedral, 335 Sussex Drive, Ottawa. Interment will be at the Cemetery in Blezard Valley, Ontario on Saturday March 23, 2019 at 11 am, following which the Family will receive friends at the Parthenon Restaurant, 3045 old highway 69 in Val Caron.
