Passed away suddenly but peacefully at home on June 9 2011. Dear daughter of the late Philipe Filion and the late Rita Couillard. Loving wife of the late Wiliam Hunt, the late Gerard Lurette and the late Stanley Gordon. Cherished mother of Christine (Dave) Nagy. Adored grandmother of Sarah and Thomas. She will also be sadly missed by her step-daughter Joanne (Glenn) Carr; her step-son Gerard Jr (Daisy) Lurette; her sisters: Florence (Ken) Labelle, Françoise (Jean-Louis) Richer and Louise Armstrong, many nephews, nieces, the Hunt family, the Lurette family and many friends. She is predeceased by her two sons Brent and Daniel Gordon, and by her brother Robert Filion. The family will receive friends at 1:00 p.m., followed by a memorial service on Monday, June 13, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel of Racine, Robert and Gauthier Beauchamp, 180 Montreal Road, Ottawa. For those wishing, memorial donations may be made to the Cancer Care Center of the Ottawa General Hospital.
