Denise Gould

Denise passed away peacefully at the age of 83 on January 4, 2023, with her family by her side, after a long and happy life as a successful federal public servant and beloved wife, mother and grandmother.

Denise is survived by William (Bill), her beloved and devoted husband of 62 years.

Cherished mother of Tina (Alan Riddell) and Monica (Luc Demers). Adored grandmother of Sydney Clarke (Taylor Ellis), Kristen Clarke (Kyle Knobloch) and predeceased grandson Alexandre Demers. Predeceased by her brothers Hervé (Nancy), Bernard, Alexandre (Rose - predeceased) and Albert (Odile). Dear sister-in-law of Sylvia Smith (Ben - predeceased), Ray Maher (Jaime), predeceased by Caroline Maynard (Ben), Grace Gaslard, Lloyd Maher (Charlene) and Lorne Maher. Denise will be dearly missed by her nieces and nephews, family and friends.

Visitation is planned for Saturday, January 21, from 1-2 pm followed by a Celebration of Life service at 2 pm at McEvoy Shields Funeral Home located at 1411 Hunt Club Road. The memorial service will also be available to be viewed live or for replay at https://funeraweb.tv/diffusions/67394.

Elle laisse dans le deuil William (Bill), son mari bien-aimé et dévoué depuis 62 ans.

Denise manquera beaucoup à ses neveux et nièces, sa famille et ses amis.

La famille recevra les condoléances le samedi 21 janvier de 13 h à 14 h, suivies d'un service commémoratif à 14 h en chapelle à la maison funéraire McEvoy-Shields située au 1411, chemin Hunt Club.
