Claude Forest

C'est avec regret que nous vous faisons part du décès de Claude Forest décédé après une longue maladie le 30 juin 2019 à l'âge de quatre-vingt dix ans. Il était le fils de feu Edmond Forest et de feu Malvina Piette. Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse Madeleine Laroche après soixante-dix ans de marriage, sa fille Lynne (feu Steve Montague), sa petite fille Sarah (Jeff Smith), son petit fils Alexander et son arrière petit- fils Guillaume. Il laisse aussi ses sœur Marcella (feu Paul Leach), Colette (feu Raymond Faubert) et Angèle; son frère Étienne (Jeannine Simard) et Wallace (feu Fleurette Arbour) ainsi que plusieurs neveux, nièces et ami(e)s. Il fut prédécédé par ses fils Serge et Roch ainsi que ses frères Rolland, Père Fernand, Aimé et Gérard; ses sœurs Rolande Beausoleil et Anne-Marie Charlebois. Il y aura une visite au salon funéraire Racine, Robert et Gauthier, 180 chemin Montréal à Ottawa le dimanche 7 juillet de 11h30 à 13h30 suivi d'un service commémoratif. Vos témoignages de sympathies peuvent se traduire par un don à l'hôpital Montfort. La famille désire remercier Dr. Chantal d'Aoust-Bernard et son équipe au 4 C de l'hôpital Montfort pour les bons soins prodigués.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Claude Forest on June 30th, 2019 at the age of ninety after a long illness. He was the son the late Edmond Forest and late Malvina Piette. He leaves in sorrow his wife of 70 years Madeleine Laroche, his daughter Lynne (late Steve Montague), grand-daughter Sarah (Jeff Smith), his grandson Alexander and great-grandson Guillaume. He will also be fondly remembered by his sisters Marcella (late Paul Leach), Colette (late Raymond Faubert) and Angèle; his brothers Étienne (Jeannine Simard) and Wallace (late Fleurette Arbour) as well as many nephews, nieces and friends. Predeceased by his sons Serge and Roch as well as his brothers Rolland, Father Fernand, Aimé and Gérard; his sisters Rolande Beausoleil and Anne-Marie Charlebois. There will be a visit at the funeral home Racine, Robert & Gauthier, 180 Montreal Rd., Ottawa on Sunday, July 7th from 11:30 to 1:30 followed by a memorial service. In memory of Claude donations to the Montfort Hospital would be greatly appreciated. The family would like to thank Dr. Chantal D'Aoust-Bernard and her team on the 4C floor of the Montfort Hospital for the excellent care.
