Peacefully in hospital, surrounded by family, on Sunday, July 10, 2011 at the age of 50. Predeceased by the love of his life Susan Kent. Survived by his son David (Nekeita), sisters Gloria Wilson (George), Nancy Slater (Jeff), Brenda Beattie (Eric) and brothers Bill (Pat), Robert (Pina) and Brent (Janice) and devoted sidekick Jake. Visitation on Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 Noon followed by a Memorial Service at 12 Noon in the Chapel of McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road.
