Barry Bell

Passed away April 8.2023 at the age of 78.

Born in Yorkshire, living his earlier years in Northallerton, before moving to Canada in 1980. Barry was an avid soccer fan…he coached…he managed and he played, in fact he played until he was 70 years old. He passed away watching his beloved soccer team on TV!!

He also had a special place in his heart for animals especially Mollie, his treasured border collie.

Barry devoted his life totally to his family. His boys filled him with pride, he loved watching them all play soccer and hockey .

He leaves behind his wife of 47 years, Allyson Bell, sons Simon (Ida), Adrian (Melissa), Michael (Lindsay), niece Shona, sister in law Eunice (John), nephews Collin (Prune), and Neil (Zahira).

Grandchildren Emma, Addie, Ethan, Sadie and Isla, his sister Pat (Richard), many nieces nephews and cousins in the UK. Predeceased by sister-in-law Gillean and his sister Mal.

Service will be held at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road, on Wednesday April 12th. Visitation from 11am-1pm and Memorial Service to follow at 1 pm. Memorial donations to your local Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
