Dear Yeo Family,
      I am truly sorry for your loss.  I remember Barbara as always being kind and understanding.  She was a great mother and grandmother.  She raised three great children and an even better grandson.  She was always positive and was so stylishly and classy.   We are all poorer for her loss.  My deepest sympathies.

Heather, Miriam and Barbara.  Three of my 5 cousins and now Barb has passed as did Heather only a few years ago.  I have truly great memories of Barb (Barbie) , especially from many decades ago when their family lived in many places around Ontario like Lindsay and Chapleau.  Uncle Jim and Aunt Dot instilled tremendous character in them all and this was reflected in how Barb lived her life with a strong work ethic, always humor and fun, and caring for her family and  others.  She will be truely missed. 
On behalf of Kathy and myself, and our whole family we offer our deepest sympathy.  As  the song ‘Old Friends’  is kindly written ...... “hold on to your memories, they’re all that’s left you”.  We all will cherish our great memories of Barb. 




Barb was an awesome employee with the City of Ottawa.   Despite her health challenges she arrived to work with gusto, and her attitude, laughter and candor were loved by all.   She was an example of how not to let life's challenges drag you down.  I was proud to have her work on my team.    We missed Barb after she retired, and now, we'll miss her more. Dear Mike,  Alex, Miranda, Kieren and Miriam

I can only image your loss and sorrow losing someone so special, someone  who loved you all, so very much.    Barb was a very dear friend who I admired immensely.   Barb's ability to accept her many health challenges with grace, style and such humour, was inspiring.  I smile when I think of her quick wit and infectious laugh that really did light up the room.  She truly was a force to be reckoned with and a fashion icon.   I will cherish all my memories and time spent together.  The road trips, get togethers,  doctors appointments, that only Barb could turn into a funny experience.    Her love for all of you, and Kellen, was boundless.   Barb's strength and fortitude will live on in you.  
I will miss her dearly and smile when I think of her.   Love ya Barb

I had the pleasure of working with Barb at the City of Ottawa.  She was a great colleague; funny, always willing to help and share her knowledge.  Despite her health challenges she always had an energy about her, truly a unique character. Rest in peace Barb.

I don’t know where to begin. Thank you for everything you’ve done for Kellan and I. I’m going to miss sitting in your room with you and having our chats. I will miss watching TV with you in the den. I will miss hearing Kellan walk in the house and say “Hi MorMor.” I will also miss the not so pleasant things, that I know were so hard for you. Things like going to Drs appointments with you. Helping you in the shower.  Helping you get dressed on days when you couldn’t. I will miss so much, the list is never ending. I’m sad for you. I’m sad that your life was cut so short. It shouldn’t have happened this way. Especially not to you. I’m sad that you will never meet my baby. I’m sad that I will never be able to call you about baby related stuff. I’m sad I will never hear your voice calling for me on Google Home asking for ice. However, I am grateful that I was able to spend 32 years with you. I will cherish every moment. A piece of my heart is gone and I don’t think I will ever be the same after this. But I am hopeful that I will see you again one day.  I will look out for Dad, as I know this is something you would want me to do. Please visit me in my dreams. I love you. I feel you everywhere. I hope you are at peace. You will forever be my sweetheart. Love you girl.

I am so sorry for your loss. My heart is broken and I want express my deepest condolences to you. Your mom was such a good friend and part of my life for so many years. She was a force to be reckoned with and I loved every thing about her.  She had style , beauty, the best haircuts, and most importantly the perfect red lipstick! I will miss you forever. My dear friend, Babs, till  we  meet again, save a space for me.
