Peacefully, surrounded by family, on Monday, October 23, 2017 at the age of 91. Dearly beloved husband of May (nee Leclair). Prdeceased by his parents Louis Ellis and Mary Boshey. Don will be dearly missed by his many nieces and nephews and extended family. He was a life member of the Carleton Heights Curling Club and a long-time member of Carleton Golf and Yacht Club. Visitation at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road, on Friday, October 27 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. followed by a funeral service in the chapel at 1 p.m. Donations in Don’s memory to your favourite charity would be appreciated.
