I was so heartbroken to hear of Anthony's passing, I know he is in heaven.  We go back a long way, I met him when he worked at Sears and I was working at the Starbucks......I always thought he was a sweet man, and several years later he tracked me down at 52 and asked if I would come and work for him at Bridgehead.  Well, it was such a pleasure to work with him and be around him.  I met my now husband through Anthony and we have been together for almost 13 years.  My prayers go out to all of your family and just remember him as the angel that he was.

I met Anthony while working at Eatons in Ottawa and so enjoyed his humour and helpfulness.  We kept in touch even when I moved back to Alberta.  One of the funniest memories was all of us going to an restaurant and him teaching us about new food delights.  He will be missed.

Anthony was a kind hearted gentleman through and through. I will never forget our big laughs and witty banter. You will be greatly missed my friend.

Anthony will always be remembered as someone  thoughtful and kind. He was the first one to work with me when I came to Ottawa. Always willing to lend a hand and be there to listen. Even though it was a long time ago he's always in my thoughts as I'm sure he touched many. My condolences to his family during this time.

Wow Tony,  you were always such a lovable and positive person and an absolute bright star in my memory as well as in my heart. Although we lost touch after high school I’m so glad that you found me on Facebook and that we were able to reconnect. Thank you for always sharing a laugh or keeping me up to date. 
I’m so sorry that I didn’t get to see you and I know that you fought hard, my heart is heavy because such a blessing to this world has left us  but I know that if anyone had a seat reserved in heaven it’s you for sure.  So I take comfort in knowing that you’ve returned home to our maker. My sincerest condolences to your family and everyone else who’s lives were touched by your beautiful soul with an ever loving heart and especially that sweet smile of yours.

Anthony has a great personality and with that, he looks for ways how he can help, big or small.

His mom and my mom were nurses, our families would spend share the hosting duties on holidays. I called his mom and dad aunty and uncle and he did the same with my parents. while our parents stayed close we lost track of each other during the college years. reconnected by chance, I bumped into him at the bus stop near my house, turns he moved into the neighbourhood nearby. One night on the phone I was ranting about losing an investor in a Spoken Word Poetry show I was producing, not asking him for anything just ranting. He just asked me how much do you need? Now looking back it seems like pocket change; but back then in 2000, it seems like a lot. we were just coffee baristas trying to make artistic hustle happen. so he became one of my producing partners with another Friend. He was content on being a silent business partner, I then encouraged him to get on stage during one of our open mics cause I knew that secretly he had been writing rhymes for years and had stacks of notebooks. he would read stuff to me and I would bounce my new writing off him to get his opinion. he got on stage and killed it and a star was born.  his laugh, sarcastic jokes,  willingness to listen and help out anybody when he could, will always be cherished.  Aunty Thelma and Uncle Wilmot to all his Family and Friends my sincere Condolences my brother will be missed.

Tony was such an extraordinary person. Very kind and caring with never sharing a bad word about anyone. If we could only all have a portion of his compassion we would be doing well. I first met him in high school because I was friends with Dennis and attended the Friday night basketball with Barry Hobin. Only good things to say about Tony, and I am sure everyone else feels the same way. 

Tony and I were friends in elementary and middle school, and continued seeing each other for 40 years around Ottawa. Whether it was yoga class, coffee runs, or a parking lot encounter, Tony always had time to smile and talk. 
He was that rare person who cared when he asked how you were doing. I will miss his smile, his kindness, and his laugh.  Much love, Tony. RIP. My deepest sympathies to his family and those who loved him. 

Anthony, I only worked with you a short time but it made a big impression on me! You were so kind, sweet, funny and goofy and just an amazing person. This is devastating news... the earth lost a beautiful energy and soul. rest in peace my friend. 

I've been missing you friend! and it appears I will continue to miss you for now. You were a kind, selfless person who cared more about trying to help me in my pain, even though I could tell yours was worse than mine. You touched my heart buddy and I wish I could have known you longer. I hope to share a laugh with you again one day free of earthly pains. I'll think of you every time I sip on some Mauby.

I am so very saddened to hear of Anthony's passing.  He was a beautiful soul who was full of compassion and kindness for others; his presence was calming, and when he smiled you couldn't help but smile with him.  I feel grateful for the time that I was lucky enough to share with him and I will forever treasure the quiet times we spent drinking tea and talking.

Someone as special as Anthony can never be forgotten.  My thoughts go out to his family as they grieve his loss.

When I moved from Toronto to Ottawa in 1982 Tony was the first person  to show me kindness at Mutchmor Public School. He stood up for me when I was picked on. His memory will live on in the hearts of those he knew and cared for. God bless you old friend. We will yet meet again. 

I am shocked and sad to hear of the loss of Tony.  We worked for so many years together at Loeb, grew up in the Glebe, went to High school together and I have only but good memories of you.  You were a man of your word.
