Anne-Marie Grenier, age 59, passed away suddenly in her home, October 10, 2023. Born July 26, 1964 in Hamilton, Ontario to Rita Moore (Charbonneau) and Gerald Moore. Beloved mother of Krystel (Sylvain), and cherished grandmother of Everest, Arianna and Loïk. Dear sister of Brenda Thibault, John Moore (MaryLou), Susan Moore, and the late Patricia Moore.
She lived in Ottawa from the age of 16 where she made lifelong connections and built a home. Kind, intelligent, warm hearted, and strong, she adored animals. Cats always left paw prints on her heart. A house was not a home without furry companions. She revelled in the small things and always took time to smell the flowers – particularly lilacs, held doors for others, carried bags for the elderly, and smiled at passersby. Beautiful, she carried herself with elegance and grace. She loved sharing fun facts, was a talented poet, and an avid animal activist. She loved her daughter and grandchildren immensely and praised them to all who knew her. She will be deeply missed – her memory treasured and carried by those who loved her always and forever.
Sunshine passes, shadows fall, love’s remembrance outlasts all. And though the years may be many or few, they will all be filled with memories of you.
