Peacefully, at the General Hospital, on March 2nd, 2012, at the age of 74. Devoted mother to Karen, Christine, Peter and Peggy. Cherished grandmother to Kristen, Kyle, Carissa, Parker, Tiffany, Kasey, Corinna, Cameron, Ashton, Erin and David. Loved great grandmother to Ayla. Dear sister to Eileen, Anthony, Tom and Diane. Former wife and devoted friend to Edgar Slobodian. Also survived by nieces, nephews and many friends. Predeceased by her siblings: Lilian, John, Theresa, Margaret and Colleen. Family and friends are invited at Racine, Robert & Gauthier Beauchamp 180 Montreal Rd., Ottawa on Thursday, March 8, 2012 from 2 to 4 p.m., 7 to 9 p.m. and starting at 9 a.m. Friday, March 9, 2012. A Memorial Mass will be held Friday March 9, 2012 at St-Ignatius Martyr Church, 518 Donald Street, Ottawa at 11 a.m.. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
