Armando Flores Sr., age 89, of Othello Washington passed away, June 17, 2012, at his home with a multitude of loving family at his side. He was born in Gustabo dia Hordas, Mexico, to Santiago and Petra Flores. He was married to Maria Gutierrez Flores on May 7, 1947. Together they moved to Othello in 1974 to raise their 11 children. Maria passed away Sep. 9, 2007. Armando worked to support his family in raw receiving at Carnation in Othello. He had a passion for hunting, and for his family. He was a private man who will be missed by a large legacy of children and grandchildren. He is survived by 11 children, Alejandro (Gloria†) Flores of Connell, and Santiago (Gloria) Flores, Armando Jr. Flores, Janie (Robert) Alegria, Maria (Fidel) Mendoza, Rebecca (Pablo) Prado, Rosaelia Rodriguez, Alfredo (Ruth) Flores, Estela (Carmelo) Mendoza, Petra (Antonio) Ayala, Beatrice (Amando) Deleon all of Othello, 51 grandchildren, and 94 great grandchildren. Armando is preceded in death by his parents, and two children Alonzo Flores and Yolanda Flores, 9 brothers and 2 sisters. Services are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Chapel.
