Susan Fay (Schwartz) Putt, 50, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2023. Susan was born February 2, 1973 in Fort Wayne, daughter to Melvin and Ruby (Simerman) Schwartz. Susan worked for a number of businesses throughout her life as well as working to receive her Associates Degree in logistics. Surviving are her daughters, Breanna (Anthony Colby) Putt of Fort Wayne and Kayley Putt of Yoder; father, Melvin Schwartz of Yoder; grandchildren, Anthony "AJ" Colby, Jr. and Aiden Colby; siblings, Timothy (Cindy) Schwartz of Fort Wayne, Kevin Schwartz of Zanesville, Brent Schwartz of Ossian, Sandra Sessions of Yoder, and Tracy (Tony) Messer of Yoder; friend, Maris Todd Smith of Fort Wayne; 11 nieces and nephews; and six great nieces and nephews. Her mother preceded her in death in 2007. Funeral services will be Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Fairview Church of God, 5511 Yoder Road, Yoder, IN 46798 with visitation one hour prior. Visitation for Susan will also be on Friday, August 11, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Funeral Home, 120 West Mill Street, Ossian, IN 46777. Burial will be at Oak Lawn Cemetery, Ossian. Contributions in Susan's memory may be made in care of Breanna Putt for her Grandchildren.
