Noah Junior Guerin, 86, passed away, Sunday, January 1, 2012. He was born on September 15, 1925 in Peru, IN to the late John Noah and Frances Mae (Hahn) Guerin. He worked for General Electric for 23 years. He served in the Army Air Force during World War II. He enjoyed ping-pong, camping, and traveling. Surviving family include his wife, Phyllis (Wall) Guerin of Markle; children, Philip (Martha) Guerin, Douglas Guerin, both of Fort Wayne, Mary Dafforn of Bradenton, FL, Jeanne (David) Chavis of Markle, Laura (Robert) Fieldhouse; brother, Dale (Glena) Guerin both of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Phyllis Riley, Kent Chavis, Sarah Chavis, Adrian Chavis, Ryan Fieldhouse, David Fieldhouse; and great grandchildren, Jocelyn Riley and Jansen Riley.
A funeral service will be 10:00 am on Thursday, January 5, 2012 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Funeral Home, 120 W. Mill St., Ossian with visitation half hour before services with Mons. Bernard Galic officiating. Visitation will also be from 2-4 and 5-7 pm on Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial will be at St. Aloysius Catholic Cemetery. Memorial may be made to the American Alzheimer’s Association.
