Marilyn Jo Lewandowski, 75, passed away Saturday, January 21, 2012, at Lutheran Hospital. She was born February 16, 1936 in Winamac, IN. She worked as a cataloger at the Allen County Public Library during the 60’s and retired from the Wells County Public Library, Ossian Branch in 1993. She was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, the Rosary Sodality, and was a 4-H leader for many years. Surviving are her husband, Robert M. Lewandowski of Rural Zanesville; daughter, Michelle (Donald E., Sr.) Helmick of Martinsville; son, David P. (Marcia) Lewandowski of Fort Wayne; and three grandsons. Mass of Christian burial will be on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 14623 Bluffton Road, Yoder, IN 46798. Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 from 4 to 8 PM at Elzey- Patterson-Rodak Funeral Home, 120 West Mill Street, Ossian, IN with a Rosary service at 6:00 P.M. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Preferred memorials may be made to Breast Cancer Association or St. Aloysius Catholic Church.
