Lila A. Rauner, 82, of Decatur, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2024. She was born on October 3, 1942 in Decatur, a daughter of the late Milton and Beulah (Yoder) Kruetzman. She worked as a beautician for more than 60 years in her own shop called Lil-Lin Beauty Shop and she also worked at Adams Woodcrest for over 30 years. She was a member of the Salem Magley Church as well as the Tiger Lily Garden Club. She was very involved with 4-H, serving as a judge and helping multiple generations of her family participate. She proudly went to the Indiana State Fair for 30 straight years. She also enjoyed arranging flowers and going to thrift and flea markets. One of her all time favorite hobbies was researching genealogy. She created an extremely impressive collection of books containing information of our family members dating back many centuries. Surviving family include her husband, Mike Rauner; daughters, Danelle (Deb) Harvey and Deborah (Robert) Ysidron; grandchildren, Megan (Alex) Harvey, Mackenzie Harvey, Sidney (Alli) Petersen, Bailey Petersen, Christina (Troy) Dahlstrom, Julia Ysidron, and Robby Ysidron; great grandchildren, Archer, Myles, Gabe, Rosie, and two on the way; and her twin sister, Linda (Gene) Kalthoff. A graveside service will be 3:00 pm on Sunday, October 13, 2024 at the Salem Cemetery, 5800 West 750 North, Decatur. A gathering of family and friends will be from 1:00 pm to 2:45 pm on Sunday, October 13, 2024 at Salem Magley Church, 7494 North 600 West, Decatur. Memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice.
