Karen Jean Lewis

Karen Lewis, 52, Ossian, passed away, Monday, November 7, 2011. She was born on February 13, 1959 to Merrill and Janice (Dickason) Myers. She was a graduate of Southern Wells High School in 1977. She worked as a master trainer at Johnson Controls. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church-Ossian, enjoyed camping, scrapbooking, shopping, and especially playing with her grandchildren. Surviving family include her husband, Dave Lewis of Ossian; children, Tara (Frank) Kahn, Kristen (Andy) Hannie, Kari (Edwin) Mateo, Tyson Harris; mother, Janice Myers; 10 grandchildren; 2 sisters, and 1 brother. She was preceded in passing by her father, Merrill Myers and one grandchild.

A funeral service will at 10:30 am on Thursday November 10, 2011 at First Presbyterian Church-Ossian, 123 S. Jefferson St., Ossian with visitation one hour prior with Rev. Jay Cline officiating. Visitation will also be from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Wednesday November 9, 2011 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Funeral Home, 120 West Mill St., Ossian. Burial will take place at Oak Lawn Cemetery. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
