Anne K. Loesch, 77, of Fort Wayne, passed away Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014. She was born on July 29, 1936 in New York City a daughter of the late Martin and Dorothy (Chase) Koening. She worked as a teacher at Marian Catholic High School in Chicago Heights, Ill. and at the University of St. Francis before retiring in 2000. She was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church. She sang in several church choirs and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are her children, Martin (Cyndi Lewis) Loesch, Maria (Dr. Craig) Stull, Carl (Marie Harrer) Loesch, Katherine (Carlos Carrillo) Loesch, Matt (Jackie) Loesch, Anne (Dr. Douglas) Gordon, John (Nicole) Loesch; 21 grandchildren; brother, Martin Koening; and sister-in-law, Mary Cortes. She was also preceded in death by her husband, M. Connor Loesch to whom she would have been married for 50 years this July, and sister, Mary Clark. Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 14623 Bluffton Road, Yoder. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2014 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Funeral Home, 120 West Mill St., Ossian with a rosary at 7:30 p.m. Burial will be in the St. Aloysius Catholic Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Aloysius Catholic Church.
