Victoria Stacey

On Monday, February 4th, 2013, Victoria (Tory) Stacey passed away at Hillsdale Estates, Oshawa, in her 103rd year. Loving family and staff came to wish her well on her journey and so, with her niece Heather by her side she passed away peacefully, happy to go at last to meet all who had gone before her. Known to friends and family as Tory, she made a lasting impression on all who met her for her marvelous sense of humour and indomitable spirit. Pre-deceased by 2 brothers and 5 sisters, Leslie, C. Newton, Laura, Bertha, Dorothy, Myrtle and Mildred. She will be remembered by four generations of nieces and nephews. Tory retired from GM Oshawa in 1970 after 39 years of service. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Saturday, March 2nd from 10:00 a.m. until time of Memorial Service in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment Union Cemetery. Donations made in lieu of flowers to the Salvation Army or charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
