Shirley Ruthella Waller

It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of Shirley Ruthella Waller, of Whitby, on Thursday, February 24th, 2022 at the age of 87. She will be missed by her loving husband Charles Waller of 67 years. She will be forever loved and missed by her Daughters Pat (Bill) Gwen (Greg) and Cheryl. Adored Grandmother of BJ (Sarah), Kristin (Josh), Amanda (James), Ashley (Adam), Jodi, Chase and Tyler. Great Grandmother of Aidan, Lilly and Noemie. Shirley enjoyed spending time outdoors golfing, appreciating the simplest beauties in life. She had a generous soul, and she cherished spending time with her family. She was a hard worker and she never gave up, always striving to learn something new. She loved her family fiercely, was friendly to a fault, warm, welcoming and always had a good story to tell you. Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Monday February 28th from 10:00 a.m. until time of service in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
