Passed away peacefully with her loving family at her side, at Strathaven Nursing Home, Bowmanville on July 19th, 2010, at the age of 81. Predeceased by her husband John. Loving mother of Alan and his wife Jackie, Judy and her husband Mark McErlean. Adored Grannie of Laura, Erin, Samantha, Hailey, Tayler and Lauren. Predeceased by siblings Margaret (the late Ed), Norman (Pat), Albert (Gladys). Survived by sisters Violet Rose (and the late Bill), Gail (John). Shirley will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Friends are invited for visitation at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Thursday, July 22nd from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 P.M. Funeral Service and Committal are complete in the Chapel on Friday, July 23rd, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. Cremation. If desired, donations can be made to the charity of your choice.
