Passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at Soldiers Memorial Hospital in Orillia on Monday, March 23rd, 2015, at the age of 53. Predeceased by his loving mother Loraine (2010). Loving son and best friend of Ernest. Scotty will be dearly missed by his “big brother” Steve and his wife Tami. He was a favourite uncle of Victoria (Kyle) and Tyler (Barb). He will be dearly missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Sadly missed by “his dog” Toby. Scotty will be fondly remembered for his great sense of humour and his love of country music. He was a Food Counselor and Resident Committeeperson for Lakeview Manor. The family would like to extend their appreciation to the caring and compassionate staff at Lakeview Manor and Soldiers Memorial Hospital for taking care of Scotty and his family during his stay. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Saturday, March 28th from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment Mount Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Muscular Dystrophy Association of Canada would be appreciated.
