So sorry to hear of the entire Wessels/mcnairs loss. I've only met mr. McNair a few times, and every time I did he was incredibly pleasant and welcoming. Will be greatly missed by all. Xoxo

Sending the entire family condolences. I do remember many years as a child walking into my Aunt Joannes house, seeing him sitting at the kitchen table and being welcomed by his open arms. I know in my heart he was a kind hearted man and may he rest in peace.

We were very sorry to hear of Bob's passing. We enjoyed a great week with he and the entire family, in Puerto Vallarta, at Scott & Cassie's wedding. I enjoyed our electric scooter races around the hotel :-) RIP Bob

We send you our sincerest condolences at this difficult time. We have many memories of your dad, but one in particular stands out.  Many years ago, Mom's house was broken into, and all her Christmas gifts to her grandkids were stolen.  Bob took it upon himself to rally as many of his fellow legion members to replace these cherished gifts, they did, and much more. Our family was so thankful for this kind hearted gesture, what a legacy!  R.I.P. Bob

To find the words to remember such an honorable, respectful, and amazing man that I have spent my whole life looking up to is so difficult because there is so many things that could be said for my poppa.

I have so many great memories of my poppa that I will always cherrish from our trips to Disney, to my poppa cheering me on at many of my baseball games, golf games, and just spending quality family time over the many holidays, birthdays, and just because days.

The love and guidance you have given me over the years I will hold close to my heart and will pass that along to my children one day. I only wish they would have had the chance to meet you but I will never let them go without knowing what an amazing man you were.

You were a fighter in every sense of the word, grandma told Tanya and I how badly you fought to be there for us on our wedding day, we know how excited you were to be apart of the day and we are so happy that we were able to share pictures and memories with you the next day. 

You gave Tanya and I some great advice when we came to visit you in the hospital and we promise we will always remember that! 

You are an amazing man who led an amazing life and we will truly miss you!

My poppa was the greatest grandfather.
My grandparents raised the greatest daughter.

I thank you for everything you have done for me,
And I will always keep you in my memories.

I believe my poppa had a wonderful life, 
He got to travel the world with his wonderful wife.

Our last conversation, 
we talked about his favourite vacation.

He told me that the Greek Islands was his family place,
You should have seen the happy look on his face.  

Steph and I told him that one day we would go there,
And toast to his memory with wine and beer.

He was brave, strong and so very nice,
He even took his whole family to Disney World twice.

To firefighters, he was the toughest.
To his family, he was the greatest.

Rest in Peace Poppa,

Joanne, Jerry and family - please accept our deepest condolences.  I have several fond memories of your father, but one in particular stands out in my mind.  It happened one summer day when we were 14.  Joanne had invited me over to go swimming, and during that time I heard a very loud siren from a fire truck getting very close.  I asked Joanne if there was a fire on her street, to which she replied - nah, they are just delivering dads pay cheque.  We sincerely hope that your fond memories of him will bring you some comfort during this time.
