Peacefully after a lengthy battle with ALS, at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Wednesday, October 10th, 2012 at 66 years of age. Beloved husband and soulmate of Cherie for 31 years. Dear son of the late Doris and Frank Houston. Loving and devoted father of Theresa Houston, Rhonda Houston and her husband Bill Webber, and Barbara Houston. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Ashley and LeVaughan, and great grandson Jaxon. Dear brother of Gerry (Donna), Arleen (late Jim), Terri (Doug), Paul (Sandi) and Mike. He will be fondly rememberd by his many nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Saturday, October 13th from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Dr. Zinman’s ALS Research at Sunnybrook Health Science Centre (2075 Bayview Ave., Room UG 26, Toronto, ON 416-480-4213) would be appreciated.
