I had the pleasure of working with Ralph over the past couple of years, helping him with his bookkeeping.  He always had a smile and often a joke, and always had the music playing on his front step.  His love of his family was his inspiration for life.  Nothing made him happier than spending time with his kids, other family members, and friends.  I am happy that he was able to get his songs recorded as it was on his bucket list, and I am happy that he shared his music with me; I am sad that he wasn't able to fulfill his final travel plans, but I am also glad he is free of the pain that was ever-present.  The world has lost a truly kind human being.  RIP Ralph, you are gone too soon.

My thoughts and prayers go to the Sucee family especially Adam, Alana, Angela.

Ralph has been like a father to me since I met him for the first time in the Summer of 2013.  At that time I was merely a stranger at the door, but Ralph invited me to his home and treated me as a friend.  As our friendship developed over years, I was privileged to be a witness to his ongoing generosity and caring for others.

Ralph not only has been a true friend, he has also been a great mentor and teacher.
It will be impossible for me to forget his humor, his kindness, and the contributions he has made to the community.  I am sure the memory of this great man will be a lasting one. 


I only had the pleasure of knowing Ralph in the last 5 years, however he made a lasting impact on my life. He was a true friend and an angel in my life, with a heart of gold. You could not know Ralph and not recognize his kindness, generosity, wit and sense of humor. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed 

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Ralph.   I am extending my sincerest condolences to the Sucee family in their time of grief.  

His son Adam must have shared his love of music, as he studied classical guitar with my late husband Brian and he did exceeding well, playing the instrument beautifully.  Ralph and Brian spent many fun times together, each sharing the love of horse racing.  Lots of laughs were enjoyed by both on those evenings and their witty comments kept them in stitches.

I know Ralph will by missed by many and although it is never easy to lose a loved one, his memory will live on forever in the hearts of all.

I met Ralph when I was hired at Durham CAS but had heard of him long before from my colleagues at another agency . We had the opportunity to work together and he taught me many things and was so compassionate and kind in working with families and children
 He had a heart of a gold and stood up for what he believed in regardless of what others thought.  He loved his kids and family and will be missed . Today at the visitation I heard his beautiful voice and met his children. My heart goes out to Victoria and the children and close friends and family.. Rest in peace sweet Ralph.

Ralph was truly a musician in all of his endeavours, seeking to harmonize with all those he encountered. He will always be an inspiration to me and all those who wish to make beautiful music with their life. Thanks for the lessons Ralph. I'll miss you.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Sucee family at this sad time.

My condolences to the Sucee family, We are all deeply saddened by the loss of a very special person. Ralph and I go back many years and lots of great times, We had a lot of late night conversations. Always talking horses or Toronto sports teams .Ralph was big on family and he included me in his family likewise in mine. Ralph was a teacher to so many. I always felt that he would go out of his way to help anyone. I know it's seems hardly fair that a man that has helped so many has to leave us so soon. I'm so happy that we were able to talk recently. You will always be in the hearts of the Bice family and never forgotten :( love you Pal Talk soon!

Ralph was always in a great mood to talk horse, so knowledgeable about pedigrees
and racing, I could listen for a long time to his stories.
I have known Ralph for a very long time and it is a very sad day for all those
who knew him.
If you ever had the pleasure to sit and hear him sing you would never forget
his voice, just wonderful.

Ralph was kind, caring and always offered an ear and some friendly advice.  At a time when I needed him the most he was there for me and my family. He guided our family in determining one of the biggest life changing decisions; to give my grandchildren a better life. They had the opportunity to be adopted by a loving couple.  Although Ralph no longer worked for CAS he came to our meeting as a friend to help guide us thru the process , as a knowledgeable person due to his background.  When the decision was made Ralph and I talked about it being the way God wanted it to be .  He taught me to believe in myself and the power of prayer.  We always joked about turning our troubles over to "the big guy".  I'm a better person for having the privilege to get to know Ralph and be part of his life, even for a short while.  Rest now my friend I will miss you greatly.

My deepest sympathy for your loss.

I worked with Ralph at the Sportsman and remember how stunned and terribly anxious we are were when we got word of Ralph's accident. The strength and determination he displayed throughout his recovery was inspirational. He was a great part of the Sportsman team and I always remember how much I learned whenever we talked horses. He will be sorely missed!

My daughter, Isabelle, and I, were privileged to sing back-up harmonies on several of the songs Ralph had re-produced for his music album last year.  We both loved his original songs, so heart-warming, sentimental, and melodically beautiful.  It was my privilege to meet Ralph on three occasions during the project, and I was always impressed with his courage and humour, while facing tremendous physical challenges.  I am very sad that we lost Ralph so soon.  Isabelle and I had wanted to tell him, again, how much we respected him as a song-writer, and what a joy it had been to sing on his CD.

I am so sorry to learn of Ralph's passing.
Although we never had a close cousin relationship Ralph always treated and hugged me with warmth and love.  Even now, if I close my eyes I can hear his voice say "hiya Cath!"  as we hugged.  It is a memory that makes me smile.
Ralph was a man who faced hardships with strength and determination and who loved having his family and friends around him. 
He will forever be missed by all who loved him.  I send all of you my deepest condolences, thoughts and prayers.
