Passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 31st, 2013, at the age of 88. Loving husband of the late Irene for 69 years. Beloved father to Allen (Cindy), Linda Cowan (Brian), Raymond, Betty Scott (Paul), Donna Strickland, Sandra Burke (Terry), and Norman. Leaving behind many grandchildren, great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild, as well as many nieces and nephews. Cherished brother to Lorne Scott and Marie Dobransky and predeceased by his brothers, Russell and Raymond, and his sisters, Vera and Velma. Sadly missed by brother in law Harold, and sister in law Ellen. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Wednesday, April 3rd from 6 – 8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, April 4th at 11:00 a.m. Interment Thornton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
