Dear Karen and Family.
  I am so sorry to hear of Mike's passing. It was a shock to me you can be sure. He always looked in the peak of health and we always got along just great. Again I am so sorry for your loss.
  Mike and I worked together for many years on shift and in the union and it was always a pleasure to walk into work and know Mike could make you laugh and had some story to tell you.
   We talked over the years even after I retired and it was always a pleasure to speak to him.
    I am sorry I did not get to meet you at the services as I wished but I did get to meet your wonderful son Blake. He was right when he said Mike would always need a backup for the backup. That was Mike. Always prepared.
   He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

We are sending our deepest condolences to the Hill family during this difficult time. Unfortunately we didn't formally meet Mike but did exchanged pleasantries as neighbours. We do know what a genuine person he was from the kind words we have heard from the neighbours who have known him for several years and for the many times he was out snow blowing all of the driveways on our street out of the pure goodness in his heart! Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

We wanted to express our condolences for this tremendous loss. My wife and I knew Mike and Bob well through the gym. It was always a pleasure to speak to both fine gentlemen. Mike was always energetic, smiling with a quick joke to share. Even when he spoke to me about his illness he had a positive attitude and a light hearted joke to share. He was a very compassionate man that was sincere and genuine in his friendship with us. Always had an encouraging word. He will be sorely missed. We are glad we had the opportunity to be his friend.

To Mike's family remember all the good times. I am so sorry for your loss and I can't believe this lovely man is now gone.....Mike was a gentleman, one of the nicest men I have ever met. He worked out at the same gym I do. He always had a kind word to say and we used to exchange stories about our dogs.  He was always talking about his kids and his fishing and hunting trips. Rest in peace Mike! you were one of the best!

 Sending a huge hug to you all. Frank was telling me that Mike went into Canadian Tire and asked how much a snow blower cost. Frank said you could spend seven or eight hundred dollars. I have lots of good memories of Mike. I met Mike on my 1st deer hunt where my brother Rick & I were invited to join Mike & the rest of the hunters which turned into 20plus years of friendship & a yearly deer hunt tradition. At the last deer hunt after I got my deer, Mike was the 1st one to show up to congratulate me and field dressed my deer. I will dearly miss his jokes and one liners after a day of hunting over a beer. He loved hunting & fishing as we did. We will miss you so much.
