Please accept our condolences on the passing of Meredith. She was very kind and compassionate with the cats she spent time with, as a volunteer, in our animal shelter over the past few years. The animals, and all of us, will be forever greatful for the time she spent contributing to a more comfortable stay for the animals in our care.

I have many great memories of spending time with Meredith....from playing barbie dolls with my girls when they were little to having a drink or two at a pub in Ottawa or having a party at Halton 1. Meredith was a party person.

To Meredith's Family - I am one of the many ladies at St. Christopher's who work in Grannie's Place, our childcare centre on Sunday mornings.  Meredith always loved stopping by before the service to see the little ones and perhaps get a hug from them.  She always had such a sunny disposition and loved to chat with everyone.  She was a large part of our church family and will be missed by many.  My condolences to you all on the loss of a very special person.

Our sincerest condolences to all of Meredith's family.  We are so sad to hear of her passing.  We will miss seeing her at St. Christopher's every week.  I will always remember how much she loved the children and babies, and was always so considerate asking how they were doing.  I found some lovely pictures this morning of Meredith and my daughter at her baptism this year.  My little ones will miss her hugs, and I will miss seeing her.  She was such a sweet spirit.  I will think of her every year at the Blessing of the Animals because I know her kitty friends were so precious to her.

We are parishioners at St. Christopher's Anglican Church Burlington, where Meredith was an active member, and where her Christian commitment was evident for all to see. A few years ago when we were helping at St. Christopher's gift wrapping table at Mapleview Mall, Meredith came by with her parents and we had a lovely chat. It soon became apparent that Meredith was not only a group home resident, but a much loved and adored daughter, who was excited about going home for Christmas, and whose parents were just as excited. We buy pet food at Pet Needs of Burlington, and often saw Meredith there, always with a kitten or a puppy on her lap! She will be missed at church and in the community.
