Passed away on Monday January 5, 2015 at Lakeridge Health, Bowmanville at the age of 73. Loving son of Luisa and the late Ettore Serra. Loved father of Liza Serra, Diane Renaud (Mike), Suzanne Gomes (Dan) and Allison Vaughan. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Kody Kroontje, Tyler Kroontje, Michael and Jessica Turkington, Joshua and Rebekah Gomes, Robert and Adriana Whibbs and Rachel and her husband Rob Janeiro and their children Ava and Noah. Resting at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West, Oshawa (905-721-1234) where family will receive friends on Thursday January 8th, 2015 from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. Parish prayers will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday at 3:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST.MARY OF THE PEOPLE CATHOLIC CHURCH (570 Marion Ave., Oshawa) on Friday January 9th, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Entombment at Resurrection Cemetery, Whitby.
