Passed away peacefully on October 1, 2013 due to complications from a broken pelvis at the age of 94. She was joined at her bedside by her four loving children: Maria do Ceu, Joaquim, Idalina (wife to Joao Cardoso) and Joao Eduino (husband to Marcia Pinto). Proud grandmother of Alex (husband to Ana), Michael (husband to Cathy Silva), John, Diana and Jack. Loving wife to Joao Pereira who passed away in 1974 and spent many years with her in Terceira, Acores, Portugal and Rio de Janeiro, Brasil. Visitations will be held at Oshawa Funeral Home on Thursday, October 3 from 2-4 and 7-9. The funeral service will be held the following day (Fri. Oct. 4) at St. Mary of the People in Oshawa,at 11am.
